BASIC COOKING FOR GUYS OK guys, your ladies are signing you up to learn how to cook, so here is the program for men who need a little help in the kitchen. It is not a “burgers and beer’ class, so pay attention. You will learn how to broil steaks, do a roast up right, make killer rack of lamb, cook veggies right, find there are more to carbs than potatoes, sharpen knives and learn to appreciate a great glass of wine. The course is our standard 5 hours long from 3:00PM to approximately 8:30PM. Your significant other will join us for the dinner you cook. The class with all food, wine and dinner to follow is $150 for a couple (but only the men cook, the ladies arrive at 6:00PM for cocktails).
There is more to Italian than just pasta. We WILL do pasta, plus fra diablo, fried calamari, cacciatore, scampi, grilled antipasto, and of course fine Italian wines. SPANISH & PORTUGUESE COOKING FOR GUYS Spain and Portugal offer two of the most diverse and flavorful cuisines. Over the centuries the Spanish and Portuguese explorers brought home exotic spices and ingredients, as well as, methods of cooking from Africa, South America and Asia. With the invasion of the Moors even more influences joined the mix. The result is a set of dishes from each region and subregion of the Iberian Peninsula. There is no national Spanish cuisine, there is only a collection of wonderful dishes from each region of Spain and Portugal. The course is our normal 5 hours long from 3:00PM to approximately 8:30PM.
